With a competitive salary of £50,000-55,000 per annum, we are seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in engineering and manufacturing. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work independently, and have experience in lean manufacturing techniques and/or Six Sigma.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to production processes and assist with the development, testing and introduction of new products.
  • Develop and implement improvements in department-wide processes, procedures and systems.
  • Improve the overall reliability and performance of plant, personnel and production equipment and processes.
  • Carry out feasibility studies for new technical innovations, testing installations and systems, analysing data.
  • Maintain and develop the delivery of finished products in line with cost, quality and production schedule requirements.
  • Implement standard operating procedures across all areas of responsibility.

Requirements

  • Higher educational qualifications in an Engineering discipline preferably Mechanical/Automation/Process or similar.
  • Hands-on experience in a manual and automated assembly manufacturing environment.
  • Experience of lean manufacturing techniques and/or Six Sigma.
  • Versatile and a self-starter able to work without supervision.
