Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being. The role involves working as part of a dynamic team to deliver personalized care plans, promoting independence, autonomy, and participation in daily activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing exceptional care and support to residents during all daily activities, including personal care, socialization, learning, and therapy sessions;
  • Communicating effectively with residents, families, and colleagues to build strong relationships and empower individuals to grow and develop;
  • Maintaining a safe, supportive, and enjoyable environment that promotes the well-being and happiness of residents;
  • Assisting with therapy sessions, such as hydrotherapy and rebound therapy, to enhance resident outcomes;
  • Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A willingness to work towards achieving the Level 3 Diploma HSC (funded by Positive Futures Recruitment Ltd);
  • A robust, positive, and creative approach to meeting the needs of children and young adults;
  • Good interpersonal, communication, and team-working skills;
  • A high level of resilience and patience;
  • The ability to follow personal care routines and work within a rota pattern;
