About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Planning, Performance and Insight function as a Senior Planning and Performance Specialist. This is a key role in our Central CIDO Operations team, responsible for defining and managing the cadence, gathering insight, and assessing performance to ensure quality across the entire function.

As a Senior Planning and Performance Specialist, you will be a subject matter expert who will guide and mandate where necessary, while engaging positively with all staff from the Executive and Board down through day-to-day quality and performance duties. You will help set the drumbeat and ceremonies, develop and maintain CIDO Operating Model collateral and Org design structures, and develop performance scorecards.

Key deliverables and accountabilities of the role include:

  • Supporting the definition and development of CIDO performance framework and measures, aligned to CBS strategic goals and objectives.
  • Contribute to the assessment of quality within the CIDO function, and influence consistency across the SAFe Product Portfolios and Shared Services.
  • Maintaining how the CIDO SAFe cadence and drumbeat aligns with corporate strategic planning and finance processes.
  • Providing high-level, expert advice on emerging issues or concerns regarding CIDO Performance.
  • Responsible for gathering insight on the workings of the CIDO SAFe Operating Model and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Responsible for developing, maintaining, and publishing CIDO insight and knowledge through a central knowledge base.

About you

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Proven experience supporting effective governance and assurance in the Scaled Agile Framework.
  • Ability to communicate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong ability to design and implement dashboards, analyse data, and present it in a way that tells a story.
  • Ability to take train and portfolio level outcomes and interpret to help teams align to strategic value.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, can handle the unexpected with flexibility.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Enjoy taking the lead on work and be comfortable with empowerment.
  • Highly organised with the ability to work on your own initiative.
