About the Role:

  • As Payroll Management Specialist, you will be integral to our clients finance team, managing comprehensive payroll processes including calculations of PAYE, FPS, and EPS submissions.
  • You will manually calculate statutory payments such as SMP, SPP, and SSP, understanding and applying NIC for new joiners and managing adjustments.
  • Your tasks will also involve addressing and resolving queries related to tax code changes and National Insurance updates, conducting thorough checks and balances within the payroll process to ensure accuracy.
  • You will prepare and submit pension data to various providers, keeping abreast of changes in payroll regulations and ensuring compliance.

About You:

  • We are looking for someone with at least 2-3 years of experience in payroll, preferably in a payroll bureau, commercial, or practice setting, managing multiple payroll cycles.
  • You should have end-to-end payroll experience, including from payroll journals into bank line.
  • Proficiency in payroll software such as Sage, Iris, or Staffology is highly desirable.

The estimated salary for this role is £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
