About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced healthcare professional to join our Clinical Excellence team. As a Clinical Case Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting our customers who have been diagnosed with complex medical conditions, such as cancer.
You will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers, including reviewing their eligibility for treatment, signposting them to eligible services, and using your clinical skills to make informed decisions on highly complex treatment eligibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide front-line support to our customers via all communication channels, including email and telephone.
- Review eligibility for treatment and signpost customers to eligible services.
- Use clinical skills to make informed decisions on highly complex treatment eligibility.
- Work proactively with providers to ensure care is appropriate to need and eligible under the customer's policy.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate knowledge of current best practice and clinical guidelines.
- Support front-line business areas where there are clinically complex cases to provide clinical case management support.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate knowledge of appropriate WPA products, policies, and initiatives to ensure that all queries are answered accurately.
- Carry out medical research to support claim decisions and ensure current and accurate evidence to support claims advice.
