About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at a specialist school based just outside of Taunton. The school provides therapeutic care and education for children and young people with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing direct assessment and intervention for pupils with complex special educational needs and disabilities
  • Working with the support of other professionals within our Clinical Team to provide high-quality services
  • Developing and implementing individualized plans to support pupils' communication and social skills
  • Collaborating with teachers and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to supporting pupils' needs
Requirements
  • HCPC registration (preferred)
  • Post-qualification experience of SEN education
  • Familiarity with a variety of SALT assessments tools and interventions
  • Passionate champions of students with SEND
  • Full-UK Driving License and access to a vehicle
