We are seeking a highly skilled Training Instructor - Diving to join our team at the National Hyperbaric Centre in Aberdeen. As a key member of our training team, you will be responsible for delivering theory and hands-on training to customers on a variety of technical topics related to diving equipment and operations.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering course content in a face-to-face classroom and workshop setting, as well as potentially online.
  • Assisting with the upkeep and development of training materials, such as presentations, handouts, and assessments.
  • Delivering JFD standard lesson plans and ensuring the quality and continual development of course materials.
  • Maintaining stock of consumables and reordering as required.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Substantial experience as a dive technician working offshore.
  • Experience maintaining diving equipment to manufacturer's specifications and industry standards.
  • Strong knowledge of industry guidance, such as IMCA and IOGP.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience working on diving equipment, including helmets, regulators, and diver reclaim systems.
  • Technical training experience is advantageous, but an engaging personality, strong communication skills, and confidence are more important, as full training can be provided.
