About the Role

Venture Recruitment Partners is partnering with a well-established global business to recruit a Credit Control Associate. This is an exciting opportunity to join a large and established team, where you will be responsible for managing client relationships and ensuring timely payments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage client credit applications and maintain excellent customer relations
  • Monitor customer accounts to ensure payments are received on or before due dates
  • Chase outstanding invoices and maintain proactive chasing
  • Perform all billing activities to strict deadlines
  • Allocate payments upon receipt
  • Responsible for end-to-end process from order to receipt of payment
  • Achieve and maintain collection performance against target
  • Work collaboratively with the trade team on customer disputes
  • Assist with month-end closure
  • Regular ledger reviews with the team leader
  • Query resolution
  • Reconciliation of accounts
  • Take ownership of customer queries to resolution
  • Communicate with internal and external customers in a professional environment
Requirements
  • Experience working with a large international business (ideal but not essential)
  • Knowledge and understanding of simple financial concepts, including invoices, credit, and payments
  • Good knowledge of Excel and Word skills
  • Understanding of KPIs and ability to exceed targets
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to build partnerships with key stakeholders
  • Technical capability to learn relevant systems and programs
  • Good time management skills to ensure all deadlines are met
