Role Overview
At TARGETED PROVISION LTD, we are committed to transforming the quality of education provided to young people with Special Education Needs (SEN)/Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND). We are seeking a highly skilled SEN/SEND Tutor and Mentor to join our team in Nottinghamshire.

We offer flexible part-time hours to suit your schedule and occasional opportunities to take on remote jobs and online teaching assignments. You will also have access to extensive CPD and upskilling opportunities, including access to the full Tes CPD suite while working with us.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND, Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD), or other Additional Educational Needs referred to TARGETED PROVISION LTD.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver holistic and engaging sessions that meet the needs and advance the educational and social-emotional journey of the young person
- Complete lesson reports and provide feedback on the young person's progress
- Work collaboratively with the child's support team to ensure a seamless delivery of support

Requirements
- Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status/QTS/QTLS)
- Minimum 2 years teaching experience
- Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or other Additional Educational Needs
- Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
- Two professional references

Compensation and Benefits
£28-32 per hour depending on experience. We do not offer any set amount of work nor expenses coverage. Our insurance covers the work you do for us.
