Sellick Partnership Limited - Private Practice is seeking a talented Contested Workplace Litigator to join their team in Warrington. In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to work with a leading law firm, expanding their employment department.

As an Employment Law Specialist, you will collaborate with senior and junior associates to provide top-notch support and guidance to clients on various employment matters. The work is diverse, engaging, and challenging, enabling you to develop expertise while working closely with colleagues and clients at a senior level.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing for and participating in employment tribunal cases, including preparation of claims, responses, and applications
  • Providing expert advocacy services in employment tribunals
  • Drafting correspondence to the Employment Tribunal, opposing solicitors, witnesses, ACAS, and advising clients
  • Offering general advice on workplace matters, including disciplinary investigations, grievance procedures, redundancy programmes, flexible working, maternity rights, paternity rights, and more
  • Supporting the corporate side of the business

The successful candidate will have:

  • 3-5 years of PQE experience
  • A strong background in contentious and non-contentious employment law
  • Attention to detail and a willingness to take on new challenges
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to think strategically

This role comes with a competitive salary of £52,500 - £62,500 per annum, a hybrid working arrangement, generous annual leave, company pension scheme, private medical care, and more.
