Key Responsibilities

  • Motivate and inspire teams through effective coaching, leadership by example, and training.
  • Act as a role model, leader in delivering active support, and empower service users to achieve their needs and aspirations.
  • Collaborate with the service leadership team to oversee smooth operations, rostering, support plans, staff deployment, and budget management.
  • Promote self-care and service user rehabilitation models.
  • Work with multi-disciplinary health and social teams to maximise service user care opportunities.
  • Help implement relevant policies and procedures.
  • Maintain standards required by legislation related to service delivery.

Requirements

  • An empathetic, compassionate, and patient individual providing person-centred approaches and leading teams to success.
  • Effective communication skills, influencing others, and getting the best from your team.
  • Able to think on your feet, commit to seeing things through, and achieving the best outcomes for service users.
  • Introductory live-in care visits and accompanying Live-In Social Care Workers during their first visit to service users' homes.
  • Carrying out risk assessments, individual needs assessments, and updating these as required.
  • Covering unassigned calls to live-in service users when needed.
  • Liaising with the Head of Operations for recruitment and allocation of Live-In Social Care workers.
  • Monitoring, supervising, and mentoring Live-in Social Care Workers.
  • Evaluating live-in care plans against needs and ensuring they are reviewed appropriately.
