Life Enrichment Specialist

About the Role
As a Life Enrichment Specialist at Barchester Healthcare, you will play a vital part in creating a stimulating environment that enables the delivery of exceptional all-round care and support for residents.
Your role will involve devising imaginative, fun, and motivational activities that cater to every interest and ability, with the aim of maximizing wellbeing, independence, and social engagement of the residents.
This is an extremely rewarding position that requires strong organizational skills, a driven mindset, and the ability to inspire residents and staff with your infectious enthusiasm and creative approach.
Main Responsibilities
- To get to know the residents and their families, and then create tailored activity programmes that focus on enhancing their overall wellbeing.
- To work collaboratively with the care team to develop and deliver engaging activities that meet the diverse needs of the residents.
- To participate in the planning and implementation of events and activities that promote social interaction and community engagement among the residents.
About You
We are looking for someone who is warm, empathetic, and personable to join our team as a Life Enrichment Specialist.
You will need to possess strong organisational skills and a driven mindset to ensure that activities are well-planned and executed.
In addition, you will need to be able to communicate effectively with residents, their families, and the care team to understand their needs and preferences.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, their families, and the care team.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to plan and coordinate activities effectively.
