The Role

We are seeking a skilled Program Management Office Analyst - Agile to join our Planning & Performance Team on a 12-month fixed-term contract (FTC). As a PMO Analyst, you will facilitate the successful delivery of program commitments through the adoption of Agile practices. You will work closely with Scrum Masters, Delivery Managers, and Programme Managers to ensure the effective implementation of these practices.

Responsibilities
  • Methodology Adoption: Ensure proper use of Elexon's Delivery methodology, standards, tools, processes, and procedures by the program.
  • Support to Program and Delivery Managers: Assist Program and Delivery Managers with overall activities such as project planning and tracking, managing RAID logs, facilitating meetings and workshops, and preparing project reports.
  • Product RAIDs: Ensure Product RAIDs are appropriately and regularly updated according to the standards set by Elexon.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Raise and question where risks, issues, and dependencies are not being managed.
  • Risk and Issue Escalation: Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies and support the escalation of these where appropriate.
  • Communication: Provide timely and consistent communication to relevant stakeholders on progress, impacts, and changes associated with the program outcomes.
  • Program Reports: Build and track program reports to manage dependencies, resource estimation, and other critical program assurance areas.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience as a PMO, Project Manager, or other project support role within an Agile delivery environment or acting as a Scrum Master.
  • Expertise: Expert at preparing and tracking change delivery reporting.
  • Program Resource Management: Previous experience of providing support for program resource management.
  • Project Management Software: Experience with project management software, such as Microsoft Project and PPM tools.
  • Microsoft Office: Expert in use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, including communication and stakeholder management.
  • Influencing and Negotiation: Excellent influencing and negotiation skills and the ability to utilize these across all levels within an organization and with external vendors and stakeholders.
