About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Loss Prevention Officer to join our Loss Prevention team at NEXT.

As a Loss Prevention Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure working and shopping environment. You will provide a uniformed presence to protect company assets and minimize loss.

This position is based in London, covering the Brent Cross Store.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to creating a safe and secure environment for our stores and customers.
  • Work closely with Store Teams and build strong relationships with local police to ensure a collaborative approach to security.
  • Identify high-risk areas and implement effective deterrents to prevent loss.
  • Collaborate with Store Management to ensure Company LP standards are met at all times.
  • Perform additional duties as requested by the Regional LP Manager, including Out of Hours surveillance, LP auditing, and support at other stores.

About You:

  • Previous security experience in a retail environment is preferred, but not essential, as full training will be provided.
  • You will be flexible and willing to work across different stores and opening times.
  • Travel will be required on a day-to-day basis to cover a cluster of stores within a reasonable traveling distance from your home address.
  • You will be committed to keeping our Store Teams and customers safe.
  • You will be well-organized and able to work effectively in a fast-paced store environment.
  • You will be hardworking, self-motivated, and willing to use your initiative.
  • You will be a confident communicator, able to build strong relationships with Store Teams, police, and customers.
  • You will be flexible to work 5 out of 7 days, including weekends and evenings.
  • Comfort with using IT systems/computers is preferred but not essential.
