Project Planner Job Description

Job Title: Project Planner

Location: Edinburgh – hybrid working

A leading global professional services company is seeking an experienced Project Planner to join their team in Edinburgh. As a Project Planner, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, conducting critical path analysis, and preparing cost estimates and monitoring project budgets.

You will also identify potential risks, assess their impact, and generate regular progress reports for project stakeholders. To be successful in this role, you will need experience of a similar role within an engineering organisation using P6.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain project schedules
  • Conduct critical path analysis
  • Prepare cost estimates and monitor project budgets
  • Identify and assess potential risks
  • Generate regular progress reports

Requirements:

  • Experience of a similar role within an engineering organisation using P6
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
