Our client, GET STAFFED ONLINE RECRUITMENT LIMITED, is seeking a skilled Housing Standards Officer to join their team in the private rented sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for regulating housing standards in the district, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, and providing expert advice to property owners and managers.

About the Role:
Housing Standards Officers play a critical role in maintaining safe and healthy living conditions for tenants in the private rented sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting risk-based inspections of properties, identifying hazards, and working with property owners to ensure compliance with regulations. You will also process HMO and caravan site licences, conduct immigration and Homes for Ukraine inspections, and gather evidence to serve statutory notices.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a professional and calm demeanor. You should have experience working with housing, a strong understanding of relevant legislation, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent written and IT skills are also essential.
