About the Role

The Clinical Training Lead will be responsible for leading the review of clinical training needs for non-medical, clinical staff at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to develop and implement a comprehensive training program that equips our workforce to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review existing training programs and identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement a training plan that meets the needs of our clinical staff
  • Collaborate with education partners and stakeholders to ensure effective training delivery
  • Communicate complex information to staff at all levels, including Board and Non-Executive Directors
  • Build and sustain successful working relationships with colleagues in other healthcare agencies

Person Specification

  • Active registration with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) or Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC)
  • United Kingdom recognised Degree in a relevant subject or other equivalent program of education
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development through maintenance of professional portfolio and registration revalidation

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Completed or working towards a Post Graduate Qualification in a relevant field
  • Experience of working in an acute clinical environment
  • Previous experience in delivering healthcare education and training
