About the Job

This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented and ambitious No.1 Site Manager to join a well-established main contractor in Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

The successful candidate will have excellent managerial skills, experience working on listed buildings and/or residential/social housing refurbishments, and a strong understanding of the construction industry.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency using office IT applications such as Microsoft Excel and Word or equivalent software.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  2. Work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.
  3. Maintain accurate records and reports, including project schedules, budgets, and progress updates.
  4. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
