Job DescriptionWe are seeking a bright, passionate, and confident Coffee Shop Assistant to join our team. As a Coffee Shop Assistant, you will be the face of our Coffee Shops, serving our customers delicious coffee, freshly-baked bread, cake, and pastries, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver excellent customer service while waiting on tables, supporting with events, answering telephone enquiries, and preparing food and drinks.
- Clear tables and wash up, engage with customers, and support the manager/supervisor in dealing with customer complaints.
- Open up the coffee shop for service, take delivery of goods, stock rotation, and check dates on products.
- Ensure the entire shop is clean and tidy, items are replenished for the next day, and sweep/mop floors.
- Support the manager/supervisor with creating inspirational social media content.
- Work with initiative as part of a team, have a calm, cheerful, and helpful disposition, and work within our Honesty Shop standards, respecting food safety and health and safety requirements.
- Secure employment contracts with wages that keep up with the National Living Wage.
