SEN Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Primary School in Bristol. The successful candidate will have a degree in Psychology or a related field and be passionate about supporting children with complex needs.

About the Position

This is a long-term, full-time position that requires immediate start. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with therapists and psychologists based on-site at school to provide child-centred support to children with Autism and Learning Disabilities.

Main Responsibilities
  • To provide consistent and ongoing support to children with complex Autism and Learning Disabilities.
  • To work collaboratively with therapists and psychologists to develop and implement individualized support plans.
  • To use your initiative to promote positive behavior and engagement in learning activities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Psychology or a related field.
  • Level 3 qualifications+ and/or experience working with SEN children and/or adults in any setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary and Benefits
