Job Description

An SEN Teaching Assistant role has become available at a reputable primary school in Bristol.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children who require additional support and have the skills to manage challenging behaviour. They will also be passionate about supporting students with special educational needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities

  1. To provide individualised support to students with SEN, helping them to access the curriculum.
  2. To work collaboratively with teachers to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with SEN.
  3. To contribute to the development of a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements

  • A relevant qualification, such as a degree in education or a related field.
  • Experience working with children who require additional support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
