About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Procurement Governance Specialist to join our team at Morgan Law. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for delivering improvements in procurement practices that drive compliance and provide optimum value for money.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement Governance: Develop and implement effective procurement governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Tender and Contract Regulations (TCRs) and national procurement legislation.
  • Contract Management: Lead on the management of contracts, including reviewing and updating tender and contract documents, templates, and guidance.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Proactively engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that procurement is effectively enabling the organization to conduct its activities in compliance with the Tender and Contract Regulations and national procurement legislation.
  • Procurement Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for improvement in procurement practices, including the development of new policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • MCIPS Qualification: Working towards or holding a MCIPS qualification is essential.
  • Procurement Experience: Significant experience in procurement, including contract management and procurement governance.
  • Knowledge of Procurement Legislation: Up-to-date knowledge of current and prospective public procurement legislation.
