Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mental health and experience working with individuals with complex needs.

About the Role

The Occupational Therapist will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to service users, focusing on improving their occupational performance and participation in daily life. This will involve conducting assessments, developing personalized intervention plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of service users' occupational performance and abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to improve occupational performance and participation
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support for service users
  • Provide education and training to service users, carers, and other healthcare professionals as needed
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as an Occupational Therapist
  • Minimum Bachelor's level equivalent training in Occupational Therapy
  • Experience working in mental health settings, preferably with individuals with complex needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Working Arrangements

This is a full-time position, and the successful candidate will be required to work independently across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. A full UK driving license is essential for this role, and you will need to hold your own vehicle insurance.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £40,847 - £57,129 per annum, depending on experience. You will also be entitled to a range of benefits, including annual leave, pension scheme, and access to ongoing professional development opportunities.
