About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Therapy Team at Arthur Rank Hospice Charity. The successful candidate will provide specialist palliative care to patients across our hospice services, including our in-patient unit, Specialist Palliative Care team, and the Living Well Service.
Main Responsibilities
The Occupational Therapist will work closely with Physiotherapy colleagues to provide care, focusing on fatigue management, anxiety management, and breathlessness management. The role will involve assessing patients' needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, and evaluating the effectiveness of interventions.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy, be registered with the Health Professional Council (HPC), and have experience of working in palliative care. A UK driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes are also essential.
