About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced HSEQ Manager to lead the development and delivery of strategic plans and objectives across our framework for health, safety, environmental, and quality management.

As a key member of our team, you will provide support to operational teams in the investigation and resolution of HSEQ accidents and incidents, prepare reports on Health and Safety matters, and play an active role in the development of HSEQ policy and improvement programmes.

This role would suit an individual with exposure to the telecoms, utilities, electrical, manufacturing, or highways industries, who is looking to have a real impact in a dynamic, multi-national business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage health and safety within a telecoms, utilities, or civil engineering environment
  • Develop and implement HSEQ policies and procedures
  • Conduct audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement
  • Provide training and guidance to operational teams on HSEQ matters
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement HSEQ improvement programmes

Requirements:

  • Proven background in managing health and safety within a telecoms, utilities, or civil engineering environment
  • Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety Management, NEBOSH General, or equivalent qualifications/experience
  • Chartered status or working towards Chartered status with IOSH
  • Sound working knowledge of HSEQ laws, ACOPs, and Guidance
  • Excellent communication, engagement, and leadership abilities
