Senior Full Stack Java Developer

BTree Solutions Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Java Developer to contribute to the design, development, and support of complex Java/JEE applications.

As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a vital role in building robust and scalable solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients. Your expertise in full-stack development, coupled with your strong understanding of Java technologies, will be instrumental in delivering high-quality software products.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain complex Java/JEE applications using a variety of technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, SOAP & REST Web Services, JSPs, Struts, Spring, JDBC, JPA/Hibernate, and JMS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and ensure successful implementation of software solutions.
  • Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from design and coding to testing and deployment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to multi-tiered applications.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment by sharing knowledge and best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java development with a focus on complex, large-scale applications.
  • Proficiency in relational and object-oriented modeling concepts.
  • Experience with technical requirements specification and design documentation.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including agile principles (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with UNIX OS, UNIX Shell Scripting, PL/SQL, and UML.
  • Familiarity with IBM WebSphere Application Server, IBM WebSphere Liberty, and Oracle RDBMS.
  • Knowledge of Spring Batch and Spring Boot frameworks.
  • Experience with large-scale data migration projects.
