Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Psychological Therapies to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our Psychological Therapies Service, working closely with senior leaders and clinicians to develop and implement effective strategies for delivering high-quality care. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and visionary leader to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic plans for Psychological Therapies Service
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and clinicians to ensure effective service delivery and quality improvement
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to staff, promoting excellence in patient care and service delivery
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including partners and colleagues
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote equality, diversity, and inclusion

Requirements

  • Doctorate-level qualification in Clinical or Applied Psychology
  • Registration with the HCPC
  • Extensive experience working at Consultant level
  • Proven track record of leadership and management in a clinical setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
