Join Sky's Team as a Senior Technology Procurement Manager

As a key member of Sky's Group Procurement function, you will play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction for Infrastructure within the organization. With a focus on Physical Hardware, Hardware Support Services, Data Centres, Value Add Resellers, and Public/Private Cloud, you will drive category initiatives, negotiate with vendors, and execute optimal contracts to deliver defined savings targets and cost transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain Procurement category strategies
  • Build and maintain stakeholder relationships across Sky to ensure clear alignment between procurement and wider business planning
  • Drive strategic and business-as-usual activity, including various Product and Technology areas, Finance, and Legal
  • Work with and report to the Group Head of Broadcast & Infrastructure Procurement to deliver against Enterprise Procurement objectives
  • Mitigate risks associated with current market and infrastructure trends
Requirements:
  • Depth and breadth of expertise in Technology Procurement
  • Ability to independently carry out complex analysis and build commercial models to drive data-driven leverage in negotiations
  • Natural inclination to evaluate and challenge business-as-usual practices with an open-minded, always learning, and proactive mindset
  • Collaboration and relationship-building skills across multiple business units and international geographies
  • High ethical standards and commitment to creating a sustainable future
