Join Sky's Team as a Senior Technology Procurement Manager

As a Senior Technology Procurement Manager at Sky, you will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the company's infrastructure category. With a focus on physical hardware, hardware support services, data centers, value-added resellers, and public/private cloud, you will work closely with business units to drive strategic and business-as-usual activity.

Reporting to the Group Head of Broadcast & Infrastructure Procurement, you will be responsible for delivering against enterprise procurement objectives across Sky Group, Comcast, and NBCU. This includes leading associated category initiatives, such as RFx, category strategies, and executing optimal contracts.

You will also be responsible for mitigating risks associated with current market and infrastructure trends, delivering defined savings targets and cost transformation programs across all spend categories under management, and building, maintaining, and influencing stakeholder relationships across Sky.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement category strategies to drive business value and improve procurement processes
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver procurement initiatives and projects
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, suppliers, and other procurement teams
  • Manage and analyze data to inform procurement decisions and drive business outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in technology procurement

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in technology procurement, preferably in a senior role
  • Strong category management skills, with a focus on infrastructure and technology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to analyze data and drive business outcomes
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
