About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work closely with the SENDCo, Deputy SENDCo, and teaching staff in Primary settings in Bristol and South Gloucestershire. The successful candidate will support students with special educational needs, helping to implement whole-school SEND priorities and enable students to engage with their learning and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting teaching and learning in the classroom to ensure designated students are supported in their individual needs as outlined in their Education Health Care Plan (EHCP)
  • Working alongside a team to implement whole-school SEND priorities
  • Assisting students with their educational, personal, and social development

Requirements:

  • Committed and enthusiastic individual with a caring attitude
