We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior Manager to join our team at BDO UK. As a key member of our Audit team, you will be responsible for leading and directing all aspects of the audit, including people management, resource planning, and performance management.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and direct all aspects of the audit, including planning, execution, and reporting.
- Manage and develop staff, including coordinating staff projects, mentoring, counselling, appraising, and recruiting.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, including identifying and converting opportunities to sell work.
- Manage a wide portfolio of concurrent projects and project teams in a project management framework.
- Develop specialist knowledge of a sector and/or technical area, and/or commercial area.
- Engage with key stakeholders on technical and audit judgement decisions.
- ACA/ICAS qualified or overseas equivalent.
- Significant experience of delivering audit and other assurance services to major businesses, including listed firms with international interests.
- Excellent working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP, and Financial Reporting requirements.
- Business development experience, able to identify and convert opportunities to sell work.
- Proven experience in managing a wide portfolio of concurrent projects and project teams in a project management framework.
