Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between the main kitchen and our residents, ensuring seamless food service delivery.
  • Assist chefs in preparing meals, managing food trolleys, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Monitor stock rotation, adhere to company policies, and follow COSHH and HACCP guidelines to ensure a safe and healthy food service.
  • Support catering for special events, such as summer BBQs and Christmas parties, to enhance our residents' experiences.

Requirements

  • A passion for food and previous experience working in a kitchen environment.
  • A Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with the kitchen and care home teams.
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional service and maintaining high standards in the kitchen and dining areas.
