About this role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Bupa. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive high-quality food and excellent service.
Your key responsibilities
- Act as the link between the main kitchen and our residents, ensuring their dietary needs are met.
- Assist the chefs in preparing meals, plating dishes, and maintaining a clean and tidy kitchen environment.
- Monitor stock rotation, adhere to company policies, and follow COSHH and HACCP guidelines.
- Assist with catering for special events, such as summer BBQs and Christmas parties.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a passion for food, previous experience working in a kitchen, and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate. You should be comfortable communicating with others, have a strong attention to detail, and be able to maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.
