Care Assistant

As a Support Worker based in Chester, you will be working with an individual with autism and learning disabilities who requires support with all aspects of daily living. This includes personal care, nutrition, and engaging in activities that promote their well-being and happiness.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the individual with their daily routine, including personal care and nutrition
Assisting with activities that promote their well-being and happiness, such as going out in their van and exploring the local area
Encouraging and supporting the individual to achieve their goals, such as spending time at home with their cuddly toys and on their trampoline
Providing a safe and supportive environment for the individual, and promoting their independence where possible
Requirements:
Knowledge of positive behaviour support, LD, autism, and behaviours that challenge would be an advantage, but all training will be given
The enthusiasm to learn and experience new things
Willingness to embrace the goals the individual wants to achieve
Ability to go above and beyond for the Service User and staff involved in the package
