About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Anthesis Group team as a Sustainability Associate. As a key member of our Client Discovery Team, you will play a crucial role in qualifying inbound leads and identifying prospective clients for our business development process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inbound-Lead Qualification: Qualify inbound leads and prospect potential new business.
  • Maintain CRM Data: Maintain CRM data, tracking business development activity.
  • Collaborate with Consultants: Collaborate with consultants throughout the BD process via notetaking, coordination, scheduling, and proposal support.
Proposal & RFP Support
  • Support Consultants: Support consultants with proposal writing, coordination, and design. In many cases, the proposals require coordination spanning multiple consultant teams.
  • Develop Credential Material: Work with Marketing and consultant SMEs to develop credential and case study material for proposals.
New Business
  • Research New Clients: Research to identify new clients and sectors which Anthesis can support in delivering sustainable performance.
  • Support Consultants: Supporting consultants with meeting research and preparation in order to best prepare them to engage with the client and present our unique range of sustainability solutions to senior decision makers.
Key Requirements, Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • Experience and Interests: Completion of relevant studies in Sustainability and a passion for our planet. Prior experience in positions involving marketing or sales. Interest in a role which combines skills in corporate sustainability, business development, and sales operations.
  • Skills: Familiarity with CRM tools such as NetSuite, HubSpot, or Microsoft Dynamics. Accomplished with Excel and PowerPoint. Strong curiosity for how data can tell us stories about what is working well in our Business Development process and how we can improve. Great communicator and a real people person. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to work independently but also as a team player, as the situation demands.
