Financial Support Specialist

We are recruiting for a business in Romford who require a temporary Accounts Assistant starting immediately on a long-term basis.
Main Responsibilities:
- Issuing customer statements on time
- Weekly reconciliation of bank accounts in GBP, EURO and USD
- Processing approximately 300 purchase invoices per month
- Sales invoicing upon delivery of goods, converting sales orders to invoices
- Raising credit notes for sales transactions
- Credit control and management of credit limits
- Preparing weekly, mid-month and end-of-month payment runs
- Managing company credit cards and employee expenses
- Verifying supplier statements
- Daily posting of bank receipts and payments
- Monitoring various email inboxes
- Creating account reports as needed
To succeed in this role, you must have at least 5 years of experience in an accounting position. An AAT or similar qualification is desirable but not essential. Strong communication skills are required for effective collaboration with other departments and independent work.
Remuneration: £14.30-£16 per hour, paid weekly
Office-based job: Full-time hours: Monday to Thursday, 9am to 5pm, Friday, 9am to 3:45pm, with a 45-minute lunch break each day. Free parking is available.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail and be able to work independently with confidence.
