North Lincolnshire Council is seeking an Event Planning Specialist to join their Events Team as maternity cover for up to 12 months.

The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering events, strong organisational and project management abilities, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with some irregular hours for events.

The Events Team are responsible for planning, delivering, co-ordinating and promoting an annual events programme across North Lincolnshire. This includes events such as the Scunthorpe Christmas Lights Switch, Scunthorpe Armed Forces Day, and Jobs Expo.

The role involves supporting the Senior Events Officer and working with multiple partners and stakeholders to support and deliver a wide variety of events throughout North Lincolnshire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver an annual events programme
  • Work with the Events Team to coordinate and promote events
  • Collaborate with council departments to organise and support events

Requirements:

  • Experience in event planning and delivery
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary Range: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
