About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Healthcare Assistant to join our team at the Avalon Centre in Swindon.

The successful candidate will have access to a range of training and development opportunities, enabling them to achieve their career aspirations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing person-centred care to patients with neurological injuries and complex needs
  • Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care
  • Assisting with personal hygiene and daily living tasks
  • Analysing behaviours and adapting care accordingly
  • Updating patient records and maintaining accurate documentation

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Healthcare Assistant
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Compassion and empathy when dealing with patients and families
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, nights, and weekends
