Customcare Care Assistant Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our Customcare team as a Care Assistant in Ilfracombe and surrounding areas. In this role, you will deliver high-quality care to support clients in their own homes, promoting their independence, dignity, and self-worth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and social interaction to clients, preventing loneliness and isolation.
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Manage medication administration, ensuring accurate dosing and adherence to treatment plans.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences.
- Maintain a safe and clean living environment, performing household tasks as needed.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring clients' safety and comfort.
Requirements
We require individuals with strong communication and interpersonal skills, patience, compassion, and a positive attitude. Previous experience in care is not necessary, as we provide comprehensive training and support to help you grow in your role.
Salary and Benefits
Our competitive salary package includes £24,000 - £30,000 per annum, flexible hours, enhanced pay rates, paid training, and a range of employee benefits, including a cycle-to-work scheme, refer-a-friend scheme, Blue Light Card eligibility, and 28 days' annual leave (pro rata).
