About the Role

We are recruiting for a Contractor Management Lead to oversee a portfolio of property maintenance projects across Somerset. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of these projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead multiple property maintenance projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Oversee the pricing, preparation, negotiation, and management of contracts.
  • Prepare and monitor project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
  • Work closely with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven experience in housing association maintenance is required, with a strong background in refurbishment projects and pricing works being advantageous.
  • SMSTS certification is preferable.
  • A degree in construction management, quantity surveying, or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills are essential.

Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated at £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. A car allowance or company van may be provided.
