About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Social Work Assistant to join our team at Buckinghamshire Council. As a key member of our North Locality Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of service are provided to the residents of Buckinghamshire.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality and effective casework services, taking responsibility for working and managing a caseload within a framework of appropriate supervision.
  • Comply with legislation, statutory guidance, and local policies and procedures.
  • Deliver high-quality support to our residents and ensure that regular monitoring and review of care and support plans are carried out.
  • Uphold Buckinghamshire Council's PACT values.

About You

We are looking for an individual with extensive experience of working with vulnerable adults and adults with complex needs. You should be familiar with the services provided by a range of partners and communities, and demonstrate an advanced understanding of assessment and support planning. You will also need to be able to demonstrate skills that are set out in the job description.

Mobile Role

This is a mobile role, which gives you the flexibility to schedule your own diary. You will have access to digital folders and resources on your laptop and be able to use the network wherever you are based. Working from home will be common, as well as meeting your team in the office where necessary.
