We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our Civil Engineering team as a Senior Road Network Development Manager.

The role involves planning, designing, and managing a network of forest roads and associated infrastructure, including bridges and extractives sites (Quarries).

The forest road network supports land management and particularly the harvesting and marketing of timber from Scotland's national forests and land.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing strategies for the development of forest road networks;
  • Leading a team of engineers and technicians in the design and construction of forest roads and associated infrastructure;
  • Collaborating with other teams within FLS to ensure that the forest road network meets the needs of land management and timber harvesting;
  • Maintaining accurate records of forest road maintenance and repairs.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £45,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
