Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to provide a professional security service to our clients in Bournemouth.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all visitors, staff, and contractors on site, while also maintaining a high level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Booking in drivers, contractors, and visitors
- Ensuring safety of all visitors via inductions and providing relevant PPE
- Monitoring CCTV systems
- Issuing contractor and agency badges using software
- Controlling access/egress using access control software and physical barriers
- Locking down site entrance, ensuring all staff have left after late shift ends
- Completing DOB and incident reports in a timely manner
- Providing assistance to people in need
- Proven experience as a security officer
- Frontline SIA licence
- Proven knowledge of PC knowhow, using Windows and Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams etc)
- Familiarity with report writing
- Presentation as a smart, confident person who takes pride in their appearance
We offer a competitive pay rate of £12 per hour, with an average weekly hours of 42 per week, and a shift pattern of 4 on 4 off days and nights, with 12 hour shifts. All uniform and PPE will be provided. The successful candidate will be required to attend a 3-day First aid at work course after a qualifying period of 3 months, unless a FAW certificate is already held.
