Key Responsibilities

As a Trading Product Controller at NatWest, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial information to support the bank's trading activities. This includes leading teams to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, and implementing performance measures to promote a culture of data quality.

You will also be accountable for setting control frameworks and governance frameworks aligned to the bank's overall strategy, and actively participating in strategic initiatives to drive continuous improvement. Additionally, you will be responsible for delivering full substantiation and reconciliation of the balance sheet and profit and loss accounts within a controlled framework.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to have extensive experience leading and motivating a small team, and ideally have experience of global working. You will also need to have strong experience in banking payment systems, interlinked financial systems, and accounting procedures, as well as the ability to implement operating model and strategic change.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Experience of implementing business process and procedural change in a complex business environment
  • Strong experience in banking payment systems, interlinked financial systems, and accounting procedures

  • Proven ability to drive culture and generate multiple ways forward to achieve team objectives
