Pricing Strategist – Mediq UK

Mediq UK is a leading supplier of healthcare consumables, equipment, cleaning, and hygiene products, as well as healthcare devices to hospitals, care homes, and facilities serving the healthcare sector in the UK.

We are part of an international healthcare company with leading market positions in 13 countries. Our global head office is located near Utrecht, the Netherlands. We have over 2,500 employees and are committed to improving healthcare outcomes and affordability.

As part of our newly created Commercial Pricing Team, we are looking for a Pricing Strategist to contribute to our success. This is an exciting opportunity for a data-driven professional with a passion for pricing and margin management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the pricing dataset, combining internal customer/product prices with external data.
  • Create data-driven channel/customer guidelines for list pricing and establish a central governance pricing process.
  • Collaborate with UK SLT and group pricing specialists to develop and implement pricing strategies with strong external benchmarks and thorough analysis.
  • Monitor and manage pricing to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
  • Provide regular reporting to the UK SLT on pricing progress, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Review and update pricing policies and procedures regularly.
  • Ensure pricing policy compliance across the UK organisation.
  • Translate annual planning cycle margin commitments into a granular customer/product execution plan.

We are looking for:

A professional with a passion for data and experience working in a commercial-oriented data team. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, excellent communication skills, and strong data analytical skills.
