Job Description:

Austin Fraser is seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join a specialist SEND school setting in the Burnley area on a long-term basis.

The successful candidate will be working with students with behavioural difficulties and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

  • Location: Burnley
  • Position: SEN Teacher
  • Contract: Long-term
  • Hours: Full-time
  • Estimated Salary: £30-£45 per hour based on experience

About the Role:

  • Deliver effective teaching and learning strategies to support students with SEMH needs
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive support
  • Provide individualized support to students with complex needs

Requirements:

  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification
  • Have prior experience in a SEND setting
  • Be able to provide up-to-date safeguarding training
