Salary and BenefitsThe successful candidate can expect a competitive salary package, including a basic pay of £11.91 per hour on a 4-day week, with overtime rates ranging from £16.43 to £21.09.
In addition to a shift premium, employees may also be eligible for various benefits, including holiday time above statutory guidelines, employer contributions to a pension scheme, and access to an employee assistance program.
Job DescriptionAs a semi-skilled Carpenter at Princess Yachts, you will be responsible for performing high-standard carpentry work, utilizing your exceptional attention to detail and extensive hand skills.
You will work across our sites in Plymouth, contributing to the construction of luxurious yachts that meet our high standards.
Your daily tasks will include working on site, collaborating with colleagues, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Good general DIY skills
- Basic Carpentry knowledge – essential
- Level 1 or 2 NVQ in Carpentry – desired not essential
- Previous similar role with elements of basic Carpentry for a minimum of 1 year
