We are seeking a skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Plymouth. As a key member of our Commercial Team, you will play a vital role in achieving commercial success on our projects.

Job Description:

  • Collaborate with the Commercial Team to provide accurate financial reporting and ensure timely payments to subcontractors.
  • Manage subcontractor supplier accounts, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Deliver business forecasts, place subcontract orders, and manage accounts to secure full entitlements under the contract.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance against project programmes.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, striving for Perfect Delivery on all projects.
  • Support and coach team members on commercial and contractual awareness.
  • Liaise with customers, representatives, and third parties on commercial issues, including agreement of variations, claims, and additional payments.
  • Ensure financial closure of projects, allocating costs and values correctly in accordance with financial timetables.

About You:

We require a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor with a good understanding of construction techniques and a BSc or HND (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or other equivalent commercially related subject, and/or RICS Membership.

You should possess strong knowledge of collating and producing site records necessary for interim and final account payments and cost reports, including materials received records, understanding of period cost reporting, and experience with COINS.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of £55,000-£65,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits and opportunities for career development and growth.
