Payroll Administrator Position

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team at Vets for Pets. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering payroll for our veterinary practices and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our payroll processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll for approximately 9,000 colleagues on a four-weekly basis.
- Calculate statutory entitlements, SSP, and company sick pay.
- Process AOE and CSA deductions, P45s, and new starter checklists.
- Assess colleagues for inclusion in the company pension scheme.
- Reconcile pension contributions files prior to submission to the pension provider.
- Manage queries and resolve issues to deliver a first-class service.
- Support the processing of P11d returns using third-party software.
Requirements
- Previous experience in administering payroll within an office environment.
- Good understanding of current payroll legislation.
- Previous experience with SAP payroll solution is an advantage.
- Well-organized, accurate, and detail-focused individual.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer literate in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Honest and trustworthy individual who can handle confidential information.
