Establish a successful audit career with TPF Recruitment, a leading accountancy practice recruitment agency in Kent. We are supporting a prominent firm of chartered Accountants based in Gravesend in their search for an Audit Senior Manager.
Salary and BenefitsThe selected candidate can expect a competitive salary of £65,000 - £80,000 per annum, negotiable based on experience and background. Additionally, the role offers a comprehensive benefits package including a competitive pension and holiday allowance, hybrid working arrangement, clear progression prospects, and the opportunity to become a partner.
Job OverviewThe ideal candidate will be responsible for leading audits from planning through to completion, liaising with the team and clients as necessary. They will also host and conduct pre-audit and post-audit meetings with clients, provide accountancy advice and support, and mentor the team to review their work and encourage prompt and high-quality delivery and service.
The successful candidate will have a minimum 5+ years post-qualification experience in practice, qualified ACA or ACCA or equivalent, and experience in accounts preparation, auditing SME-sized limited companies, taxation (corporate, business & personal). They will also possess effective communication skills, be proactive and able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision, and have excellent planning, organisation & deadline time keeping skills.
